Welcome to the Archives of the North Dakota Moose Country. Here you will learn about the history of NDMC and the rise and fall of our Home Page, which documented years of research and new findings. As on our defunct Home Page, here we examine and discuss Myths, Folklore, & Legends about the moose, dating back to the 1200's. The Archives also features a biography on our founder, Nils Christiansen Kosbok, whose lifetime of research shed new light on this elusive beast. Along wth many of his great accomplishments, NDMC pays tribute by featuring one of his greatest findings which was named after him in 1983- The Kosbok Theory.
Opinions expressed by NDMC and its Archives are not to be taken as fact. The results of our findings are merely suggestions; we explore the possibility of any truths, but these are not the only answers.
