DECEMBER 2006

As promised, I've finally added some new pieces to the
Traditional page.....although, only one of the pieces is actually "new". The newly completed Rosen House is now online, as well as Krystal Destiny which was completed in 2003. Another 'lost jpeg' that surfaced is of a German Shepard named Alex. "Mike & Mary Ellen" is also a recent add. Look for these pieces as they're randomly added to the gallery.

Cannot be happier with the success of www.autumnbrookangling.com . After including iframes on each center text window, I've designed graphics for the NJ Winter Trout Collection, taken photos for the Fly Shop, and created a festive holiday banner. This site is doing well, getting tons of traffic and positive feedback. Definitely great to see. Check it out, if you're in need of custom tied flies at discount prices.

This will be added to my Web Design page shortly, as it will be getting a full update on all my web projects.

IN THE WORKS

• Monte Man - For my brother, a painting of him with his baby.....an '85 Chevy Monte Carlo. Shaping up to be a cool piece. Hopefully it'll be here online in a month. Look for that one soon.

• Painting 2 for the Rosen collection will start in the coming weeks. In this installment, we travel to an apartment in the city. The layout will be a challenge, i can tell already.....but, I have a plan. Look for this piece in '07!

JUNE 2006

With summer practically here, I'm in the middle of a nice commission - a watercolor of a beautiful brick home outside of Princeton, NJ. The piece is turning out great, and should be completed in mid July. As usual, a jpeg will be found on the
Traditional page, so look for that in my next update.

www.autumnbrookangling.com is off and running in a huge way, as it avarages 20,000 hits per month by anglers across the northeast....and the numbers continue to grow. By far, this is the most visited site that TSKstudio has done, which is extremely satisfying.

APRIL 2006

First off, a well belated "Happy New Year", as I update the TSKstudio NEWS section for the first time in 2006.

www.autumnbrookangling.com is now online! As a newly created site by TSKstudio, fisherman James Capes offers a variety of hand tied flies for NJ and upstate NY waters, as well as a river guide service for several streams throughout New Jersey.

Another website done by TSKstudio, www.michaelckregler.com, has been revamped. Aside from the new design, Mike has provided more mp3 sound clips this time around with several more to post in the near future. Links to his published works, with sound clips, have also been added.

Three new pieces have been added to the Traditional section: Charles & Tania, Pierre, and Mack Trucking. The traditional page will continue to grow with several works in progress. Any news on those will be posted here.

Due to a busy schedule, TSKstudio version 1.4 has been coming along slower than expected. If and when a post date is near, news of that will be found here. Who knows...one day I just may upload the site without notice if I can find time between projects to complete it.

DECEMBER 2005

With the holidays fast approaching and only a few shopping days left, another painting has been added to the
Traditional page. The acrylic piece entitled "Nikki and Jericho" features a woman posed on the steps with her rotweiler. This "beauty and the beast" concept has caught on, as I have another commission lined up of a woman with her great dane. Check back in February '06 for the finished piece.

A web project that I recently volunteered to do for a LONG time friend, Jamie Capes, is nearing completion. Autumn Brook Angling is a fishing website that promotes Jamie's fly tying and river guide services. I'm thrilled with a lot of the elements of the site - look, feel, design, colors, and flow of the site - definitely portfolio worthy. I'll be sure to post news on its launch date here.

TSK Studio version 1.4 is slowly coming along....I find it hard to be artistic with life getting in the way. Nevertheless, the design of the site and navigation has been much improved. Along with the new design, I've also uploaded better and larger shots on the gallery pages. I can't wait to upload this new version - Check back early 2006.

SEPTEMBER 2005

Two more illustrations have been added to the
Traditional page - a landscape featuring a leaping buck and a small dog. Done in acrylic, both pieces were completed in late August. The next project I will be taking on will be a DVD cover illustration for Mike Lee @ mikeydoy.com . It will be for a compilation DVD of Mike's work that contains home movies, music videos, live shows, stop motion animation, and several "shorts". Check back in a few weeks for news on this project.

TSK Studio will be getting it's yearly facelift in the up and coming weeks. The new design is close, so expect a new look by Fall.

MARCH 2005

The
Sketches page has finally been updated. It is a visual timeline, as it shows the progression of my artwork from childhood through post-art school. In this latest update, I've selected and photographed some older drawings from Life Drawing classes dating back to 1996 through1998. In time, I hope to find and post more pieces new and old.

Also, I've been working on a new site for an old friend - www.mikeydoy.com . Mike Lee is a great sketch artist, photographer, and video editor. The site features many drawings, several photgraphs, and 4 video clips. In the upcoming weeks, the site will be growing rapidly, so check back soon.

JANUARY 2005

Happy New Year! The
Digital page now has five new pieces added to the gallery from a new fishing website that I've been working on. Once the site officially goes online, I will be sure to make note of it here.

Also updated, the new version of www.michaelckregler.com is now online.

DECEMBER 2004
I've recently completed a full revision to www.MichaelCKregler.com, which will be going "live" in a few weeks once new text for the site has been written. Until the new site is official up and running, it can be seen
HERE in the meanitme.

OCTOBER 2004

Version 1.3 of tskstudio.com is launched.

JANUARY - JULY 2004

The first half of 2004 has been a busy one, but unfortunately not in the field of art. Nevertheless, I have updated the site with a handful of random pieces done within the year, with the exception of a commission of two small children painted in the beginning of the year. As far as graphic design work, I've been redesigning a fishing website for my own personal use that will be going online in the upcoming weeks. Until the next update, enjoy the summer!

DECEMBER 2003

I got an email the other day from the webmaster of
www.leiasmetalbikini.com, which is a Star Wars site that focuses on Princess Leia and her memorable outfit from Return of the Jedi. Apparently, he had visited this site and saw the Jabba and Princess Leia piece I had done a few years back and wanted to add it to the gallery. As a fan of Star Wars and an artist, there was no way I could say no. Click HERE to see a larger image of the Jabba Leia piece.

SEPTEMBER 2003

A few months ago, I was asked to come up with a logo for the Watchung Public Library. The drawing will be displayed at the library, while the graphic version will used on letterheads and envelopes as their official logo. A contest will be held in the month of October to decide a name for the owl. The event will also celebrate 15th anniversary of "The Friend of the Watchung Library".

Tom presents Ken Post of the Watchung Public Library with the original pen and ink drawing, which will be on display at the library.

Final digital rendering of the Watchung Library Owl

JULY 2003

I am happy to say the piece for the Kregler/Guzzio wedding was finished in time, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the finished piece. As soon as I do, they will be posted. For the time being, I recently received a jpeg of the piece from someone who was at the wedding. The quality isn't the best, but for the time being it will do. Congratulations, Mike and Mary Ellen!

JUNE 2003

Complete: Pencil Drawing MISS LISS.

APRIL 2003

Verizon Inside Look Magazine: Months ago, I was asked to submit images for the Verizon Inside Look Magazine to represent the Watchung Arts Center. The publication, which can be found in the front of the April 2003 Plainfield, NJ phone book, is meant to promote the arts and actitivities of central New Jersey.

MARCH 2003

Hail Storm Photographs: During the end of March 2003, parts of Central/Northern NJ were hit with a brief yet destructive hail storm. Luckily, I was prepared with my camera and recorded some of the after effects. The photographs were later printed in an issue of the Echoes Sentinel.
